How we earn a living, what that changes, and what it does not.
1. Our business model, in one sentence
SportsBetGuide FR is funded by commercial affiliate links to the licensed sports betting operators we review. When an adult reader opens an account after following one of those links, the operator may pay us a commission. The reader pays nothing: no subscription, no surcharge, no downgraded terms.
2. How to spot a commercial link
Every paid link to an operator carries the technical attribute rel="sponsored nofollow" and is accompanied, on the card or page where it appears, by the visible wording “Commercial link”. Links to the ANJ, Joueurs Info Service, ÉvaluJeu, the CNIL or any public body are never paid.
3. What that income does not influence
- The scores. They come from a grid of 31 criteria applied identically to every brand, fed by odds sampling and real user-journey testing.
- The ranking. Display order follows the overall score, calculated before any commercial consideration.
- The content of the reviews. No advertiser has any right of review, correction or veto over our copy.
- The points to watch. We publish each brand’s limitations, including where that brand earns us money.
4. Our internal rules
- No brand is listed without an ANJ licence verified against the official register, whatever payment is offered.
- A brand that loses its licence is removed from the comparison within 48 hours, commercial contract in force or not.
- We refuse any content written by an advertiser: every text is written by the newsroom.
- We refuse any payment conditional on a minimum score, a display position or the removal of a criticism.
- We run no commercial operation aimed at an under-18 audience.

6. Trade marks and intellectual property
The names and logos of the operators mentioned belong to their respective owners. They are reproduced for strictly identifying purposes, in an editorial context, without any claim of right or suggestion of editorial partnership. SportsBetGuide FR is neither owned, controlled nor directed by a betting operator.
7. What we are not
SportsBetGuide FR accepts no stakes, holds no player funds, opens no accounts and carries out no activity subject to licensing. We provide neither financial advice, nor tax advice, nor guaranteed tips. No review published here amounts to a promise of winnings.
8. Reporting a breach
If you believe a piece of content falls short of these commitments — an unflagged commercial link, out-of-date information, a score inconsistent with the text — write to redaction@sportsbetguidefr.com. We correct it and date the correction at the foot of the review concerned.
